Laura graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Prior to this, she received a bachelor’s degree in honours Kinesiology from McMaster University. During her time at McMaster, Laura was a member of the Women’s Hockey team; served as a student strength and conditioning coach for the Men’s and Women’s Varsity Soccer teams; and was a student therapist for the Men’s Football team.
Laura has worked with vast populations, including elite-level athletes, pediatrics and older adults. She has experience treating acute and chronic sport-related injuries, pre-operative and post-operative patients and has a strong interest in optimizing movement patterns and preventing re-injury. Laura takes an active patient-centered approach to therapy that combines individualized exercise prescription, manual therapy, acupuncture and education to help her patients achieve their goals and return to their meaningful life activities.

Since her degree, Laura has expanded her skillset by obtaining certifications in manual therapy and has become a neurofunctional acupuncture provider.

When she’s not in the clinic, you can find Laura playing hockey, playing pickle ball, strength training, or catching her breath on local hiking trails."
